MACCA'S 50TH BIRTHDAY

Macca’s wanted to celebrate their 50th Birthday here in Australia in a warm emotional way. So we shone a light on the unique Macca’s traditions that Aussies have developed over the years – like dipping fries in sundaes, enjoying a wedding day McDonald’s burger, and bunny-hopping through the Drive-Thru on your P Plates – that have all played a part in making Mcdonalds Macca’s.

The 10-week integrated campaign ran across TV, OOH, social, digital, print, and radio. OOH and print executions honoured the perfect pairing that is Drive-Thru and a road trip, and acknowledges that while ‘We arrived as McDonald’s, you made us Macca’s’.
